Wapato, Sagittaria latifolia
Also known as Arrowhead from the shape of the leaves, these pictures were taken near Rainier, Oregon in a marshy area near the Columbia River. Wapato bulbs were collected, baked, and eaten by Indians in the Columbia River area.
