Many of us don't wait to see it's beautiful flower because we pull it up and toss it in our salads. Very good addition to everyday lettuce.
I've never eaten it, but hear that it's supposed to be good.
I could feed a regiment with what's in my lawn.
I once watched my brother-in-law do this heroic dive across his beautifully maintained lawn in order to pluck one, lone dandelion in it.
It was horrifying to him. The look on his face was priceless!
