Hooker's Fairybell, Disporum hookeri


This native member of the Lily family has berries that appear later in the Summer that taste somewhat like watermelon.

Great picture. I could be wrong but I think I see a tiny bug on the pistil? Oh and this is your son.

Obviously, that "tiny bug" is a spider, and upon closer inspection can be seen to be a Mysmenopsis furtiva, and if you look even more closely you will notice that its right-front leg has been injured......JK :)
